Let's Talk
This isn't a sales call. It's a conversation. We'll ask about your business, your challenges, and what you're dealing with. Then we'll give you our honest take. No pressure, no generic advice.
Straightforward assessment of your tax and accounting situation
We'll explain exactly how we work (multiple touchpoints, year-round access)
Direct access to experienced CPAs, not junior staff
We'll Tell You What You Actually Need
Not what makes us the most money. If your situation is simple and TurboTax works, we'll tell you. If you need sophisticated multi-entity planning and year-round support, we'll explain why.
No Surprises on Fees or Scope
We'll walk you through exactly what services you need, what they cost, and why they're worth it. Our pricing is project-based and transparent. You'll know what you're paying for before we start any work.
See If We’re a Good Fit to Partner Together
This call helps us both figure out if it makes sense. We work best with contractors, real estate investors, and established business owners doing $1M+ who need year-round partnership, not just April compliance.
How This Actually Works
Everything you're wondering about—answered upfront.
Bring your last two years of business and personal tax returns if you have them. If you have financial statements, P&Ls, balance sheets, or anything your current accountant gave you, bring those too.
If you're a contractor, bring any recent bonding documents or surety requirements. If you're a real estate investor, bring your entity structure chart if you have one (or just be ready to walk us through which LLCs own which properties).
That said—if your records are a mess and you can't find half this stuff, that's fine. We've seen worse.
Don't let disorganization stop you from scheduling. We'll work with whatever you've got and help you get organized as part of the process
No. This is a conversation to figure out if we're a good fit—for both of us.
We're going to ask you questions about your business, your challenges, where you want to be in five years, what's keeping you up at night, and what you're dealing with from a tax and accounting perspective.
Then we're going to tell you what we actually think.
If your situation is simple and you don't need us, we'll tell you.
If TurboTax or QuickBooks is fine for where you are right now, we'll say so.
If you need sophisticated help but we're not the right firm for it, we'll point you toward someone who is.
And if we think we can genuinely help you—we'll explain exactly how and why.
No pressure, no pitch. Just honest advice.
Within a couple days, we'll send you a summary email recapping what we discussed and what we agreed the next steps should be.
If we're moving forward together, you'll also get a proposal that breaks down exactly what services you need, what they'll cost, and what the timeline looks like.
Everything's transparent—no surprise fees, no hidden costs, no vague 'we'll bill you hourly and see what happens.'
The proposal will include things like: entity tax returns, personal returns, financial statement preparation, bookkeeping setup, whatever we talked about.
You'll know exactly what you're paying for before we start any work.
Then once you sign off, we'll send you an engagement letter and get started.
The consultation is free. No charge, no obligation.
As for our services, it depends on what you need. We price most work on a project basis, not hourly.
So, if you need a reviewed financial statement for bonding, we'll quote you a flat fee for that. If you need entity returns for three LLCs and a personal return, we'll quote you for all of it upfront. If you need year-round bookkeeping and tax planning, we'll put together a monthly retainer.
We're not the cheapest option out there, but we're also not the most expensive. We're definitely less than the big regional firms (often about half their rates), and we're more than H&R Block or a solo practitioner.
You're paying for 40 years of experience, direct access to experienced CPAs, and year-round partnership. Not once-a-year compliance.
Northern New Jersey is our home base—we've been in Clifton since 1984 and most of our clients are in Bergen, Passaic, Essex, and Morris counties.
That said, we work throughout the Tri-State area (NJ, NY, PA) and we have clients in Westchester, Rockland, and Orange County NY.
We can technically work with clients anywhere, but we're strongest when we're working with businesses in our backyard.
We know the local landscape—who the good construction attorneys are, which banks actually lend to contractors, which surety agents are responsive, which insurance brokers know what they're doing.
That local knowledge matters, especially for contractors and real estate investors.
